Found this article at The Guardian, where it talks about the fantastic book The Art of Typewriting by Ruth and Marvin Sackner founders of the Sackner Archive of Visual and Concrete Poetry. It was an exciting project to partake on. Finding and printing the right images for each classification, typing the labels for more than 100 envelopes for each classification. Some envelopes contained at times thirty images, that later underwent several selections and cuts. Take into account the collection has over 70,000 works. The making of the book took around two years!
The article shows the image attached above: a piece Ruth Sackner and I collaborated on together using Dirk Krecker's materials. It was a wonderful, one of a kind learning and life changing experience, forever grateful to Ruth and Marvin Sackner.
